Pixar has released a brand new Elio clip from its upcoming sci-fi comedy, which hails from the Turning Red and Coco filmmakers. The movie is currently slated to arrive in theaters on June 20, 2025.

What happens in the Elio clip?
The video is a hilarious blooper reel, featuring some of the movie’s characters including Elio and its main villain Lord Grigon. This marks the first time in more than two decades that Pixar will be releasing a blooper reel of its animated characters. The last Pixar movie to feature this tradition was 2001’s Monster Inc. movie.
Elio is directed by Madeline Sharafian, Domee Shi, and Adrian Molina from a screenplay written by Molina, Mike Jones, Julia Cho, and Mark Hammer. The animated movie features the voices of Yonas Kibreab as Elio, Zoe Saldaña as Aunt Olga, Remy Edgerly as Glordon, Brad Garrett as Lord Grigon, Jameela Jamil as Ambassador Questa, and Shirley Henderson as Ooooo. It is produced by Mary Alice Drumm, serving as the producer.
