Kristen Stewart made a rare public appearance with former boyfriend Michael Angarano at a recent screening of their new film Sacramento. The event was held at Los Angeles’s Vista Theatre. Joined by Angarano’s wife, Maya Erskine, the trio posed together to celebrate the upcoming release of the road comedy film.

Kristen Stewart has reunited with her ex-boyfriend Michael Angarano. The former couple recently attended a special screening of their new film, Sacramento, at the Vista Theatre in Los Angeles. Angarano’s wife, actress Maya Erskine, who also stars in the film, joined them and posed for photos at the event. Also starring Michael Cera, the film had its initial debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2024. It will officially arrive in theaters on April 11.
The movie, directed by Angarano himself, is a road trip comedy that follows two friends who set off on an unplanned journey from Los Angeles to Sacramento. In addition to directing, Angarano co-wrote the script with Chris Smith and plays one of the lead roles.
Kristen Stewart and Michael Angarano originally met on the set of the 2004 film Speak. They were in a relationship from 2005 to 2009. Since then, both have gone in different directions personally. Stewart is now engaged to writer Dylan Meyer. Meanwhile, Angarano tied the knot with Erskine in 2024. The couple shares two children: a son, Leon, born in 2021, and a daughter born in 2024.
Speaking to Variety in 2024, Angarano revealed that Stewart was his first choice for her role, even though the role wasn’t written with her in mind. He said, “Kristen was obviously on the very top tier of that list. We knew she’d be great in the role, and she’s a person who has a history of doing smaller films like this.”
